Filming and Photography at South Bank

South Bank is an ideal location for filming and photography.

Filming, photography and media calls within the South Bank precinct require approval before they can commence.

News crews, wedding shoots and family portrait shoots do not require permission unless you are bringing a link truck, large group or infrastructure onsite. However, given the precinct is busy with public events, people visiting restaurants and people enjoying our green open spaces, we advise that you check that there are no major events happening in the precinct on the date you wish to be here. News crews are required to find their own parking offsite. They must also have station credentials visible or be able to present these if requested by Parklands Security staff.

Due to the volume of enquiries received, please allow a minimum of 10 business days for your application to be processed. Applications that do not receive adequate notice may be declined.
